Conceptos Arkipelago SA de cv is a Mexican company, incorporated on July 26, 2016 in the city of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, by partner friends Andrea Rivera Sosa (Honduras), Sebastian Kuch (Germany) and Jonatan Romero Ayala (Mexico).

 

The word Arkipelago, written in Esperanto, a language designed to promote equal understanding among the peoples of the world, refers to the philosophy of the writer and poet Édouard Glissant, originally from the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. Glissant deconstructs the classic connotation of insularity and remoteness of an archipelago, in the sense that it defines it as a space of immersion, communion, diversity and solidarity (Mamadou Moustapha Ly, 2014). According to Glissant's philosophy, the world can be seen as a global archipelago, in which the continents are islands that, connected through the sea, are in an open relationship, in constant interactions and exchanges. It is a vision, which makes us aware, at the same time, of here and there, of near and far, and makes us feel part of it. Therefore, "archipelago thinking" opens all oceans and every place to us. It is the ability to see the island, but also see how it is related to the other islands and the global world (Pearce). In the tout-mond, borders do not exist.

 

Our different roots characterize us as a team of friends and partners. We are a multidisciplinary, dynamic, cosmopolitan and philanthropic team. Each of us has high-level academic-scientific training as well as work experiences in their area of ​​knowledge and on different islands of this "arkipelago world".
